In anticipation of the 2010 FIFA World Cup™, Puma created the “Love Equals Football” campaign, a celebration of Africa’s passion for the game. Puma — which usually uses royalty-free music — decided that Gnarls Barkley’s song “Going On” would be perfect for the project.
Working within the client’s budget, GreenLight successfully obtained worldwide rights for Internet and TV spot buys, as well as PR use of the song from mid-March through the end of the tournament in July 2010.
