Panasonic wanted to demonstrate the quality of its newest products by showcasing martial arts in a promotional campaign. Panasonic and its agency, Sun Ai Advertising, believed Bruce Lee would be the ideal spokesman for a new line of home electronics, including 3D TVs. They worked with GreenLight — which represents the Bruce Lee estate — to clear the legendary icon’s personality rights. GreenLight also secured the rights to clips and theme music from Enter the Dragon, as well as Lee’s costars Robert Wall and Shih Kien for the multimedia campaign.
